Terra Toys just got a new shipment of all sorts of amazing City Legal fireworks and Sparklers! From huge confetti blasters to snappers and morning glory sparklers! We have all the supplies for a festive New Year celebration!

If you have never heard of a Slider before, come in and ask for a Demonstration of any of our fireworks! Sliders are a cool new sparkling stick that you slide with your shoes, and they sparkle and zip and zazz around! SO FUN!

We also have wedding-appropriate sparklers! Highly Photogenic, long lasting and beautiful.

November 23 Duncan YoYo Demonstration at Terra Toys! Learn and watch cool YoYo tricks!

On November 23rd, Terra Toys will be hosting a FREE Duncan YoYo event from 3pm to 5pm. Two very experienced Duncan YoYo representatives will be there to demonstrate and teach new, cool and classic YoYo tricks! There will also be free yoyo door prizes from Terra Toys, as well as demonstrations of our coolest YoYos available!

This is a FREE event, so bring your favorite YoYo to show off your tricks, or come ready to learn!

November 5th Celebrate and Learn About Diwali- Free Fireworks FUN!

Who doesn’t love light!?

November 5th is Diwali, the Indian holiday honoring light.

Diwali is an official holiday of India, known as the Festival of Lights. During this holiday, families gather and share sweets as well as all forms of light, including fireworks, candles and sparklers!

Even if you don’t know anything about Diwali, come learn! We carry books about Diwali and other cultural holidays.

Join Terra Toys in a sparkler-filled evening! All sparklers and fireworks are CITY LEGAL, and are appropriate for almost all ages.

AND…This is a FREE event!

“Fairy Godmother Academy” book signing Event with Jan Bozarth

Terra Toys will be hosting a special demonstration and book signing by author of "The Fairy Godmother Academy" book series, Jan Bozarth.

This event will mark the release of the third book in her series, "Zally’s Book."

The book signing will be held on October 23rd 2010 from 1pm to 3pm.

This is a Free event!

Come in to Terra Toys to meet the author of this popular book series and get her autograph!

Also, Terra Toys sells all the books from this series, so new readers can become fans!!

Free Event – Paint Your Own Train!

Choo Choo! Come to Terra Toys on July 15, 2010, 1:00 to 3:00pm to paint your own train. Terra Toys provides materials and instruction, including a wooden boxcar or tanker that fits on any standard wooden railway (cars are made by the same company that makes Thomas the Train Wooden Railway). See you there!

Fairy Tea Party 2010 a Big Success!

This year’s Fairy Tea Party was a big success! Over the course of the two-hour event, more than 100 excited kids participated. Many arrived in delightful costumes with wings, glitter, capes. Children made the rounds to several tables, each station providing the next step in the fairy-making craft, and ending with tea and cookies. Kids also received tickets for free face-painting three doors down at our new children’s shoe store, kidOshoe.

In fact, the whole party was so cool that our Gretchen made the front page of today’s Austin American-Statesman’s Metro section.

It’s time again for our most popular event of the year – the fairy tea party! Kids of ALL ages are invited to dress up as fairies or goblins, witches or warlocks, and come make a fairy craft. Cute and fun, and the cookies are always scrumptious. Thursday, June 17th, 1:00 to 3:00p.m. This is a free event.
